Dasharatha Mahal located in Ayodhya, also known as Dasharatha Bhawan, is considered to be the birthplace of Lord Rama. It was built by King Dasharatha, the famous ruler of Ayodhya and father of Lord Rama. According to beliefs, King Dasharatha had established this palace in Treta Yuga.Dashrath Mahal is a Siddha Peetha. This place is also a famous Peetha of Shri Vaishnav tradition and the highest Peetha of Vindugadi. It is believed that this palace was the childhood place of Lord Rama and the capital of King Dasharatha. There are grand temples of King Ram in the palace. It has a decorated and ornate entrance with beautiful paintings. Dasharatha Palace holds a prominent place in the history of Ayodhya. This enchanting place holds deep significance in the life of Lord Ram and his brothers and sisters
